Millionaire Strategic Planning

What is it that makes one entrepreneur successful and another a failure….?

The “key” difference between people that get Great results and those that “wish” they got great results is Strategic planning and execution.

The ability to put a plan of action together and then make it happen!

For entrepreneurs there is no skill more important than being able to execute or take action and make things happen.

All the great ideas in the world are absolutely worthless without being able to bring the idea to life – and that takes execution.

Donald Trump can have his apprentice, but it won’t be me – all that hassle to work for someone else – I don’t get it.

The problem with not having a boss though– is not having a boss.

You end up having to completely manage everything…including yourself…sometimes

that’s the toughest part.

In my early 20’s, in an attempt to master managing myself, and then everything else, I began studying successful people, entrepreneurs, CEO’s, historical Leaders, sports stars, etc…

One thing, and the only thing, that I’ve found to be a common thread in all these people is their ability to consistently, strategically, and at times – ruthlessly, execute on a plan.

From Rogue Internet Millionaires to Fortune 500 CEO’s

You’ll find a bold streak of Strategic Planning and Execution

These are the people that get things done!

You do not need to be perfect, intelligent, honest, or even necessarily hard working to be successful.

You Do need to consistently work a strategic plan and take the “right” actions.

My problem was…I would start one thing after another, never following through and giving anything a chance.

It wasn’t lack of motivation, work, or willingness to invest time and money.  I’ve spent tens of thousands of dollars on businesses start-ups, coaching, hypnotism, you name it.

The real problem with my lack of progress in my own businesses was this………

Inconsistent execution on my business plans, (I have just about every business plan and opportunity available – stacked up in the basement)

Trying to find something that would work for me, I read everything I could find on successful strategic planning and execution.

In my study of successful CEO’s and entrepreneurs I found that they are master executioners – they get things Done!

The “right” things done.

They focus on getting the things done that build a customer list and create revenue first!

It’s great to have a great plan, a strategy…but only those who consistently act on that plan – execute- will have great results = get paid.

And in the end there is no “A” for effort, either your efforts pay the bills in real dollars not positive thinking or your “efforts” will have to get a “job”.

It can all be overwhelming – what to do first – how to stay on track and stay focused with so much competing for our attention.

You cannot possibly do it all!  We all have limited time and resources – the successful just pick what they do with their time better than most people.

The Idea here is to pick actions that will get you to your goal the fastest.

In the next several articles or parts of this discussion, I will go into the specifics of how to set up your own Strategic Planning and Execution system.

Really get something accomplished this year with consistent and focused action.

Simple tools and practices to make you 87 % more effective – use strategic planning and execution the right way….So stay tuned.

Remember that saying that when life hands you lemons make lemonade?
